The Minnesota Vikings U.S. Bank Stadium Build - 2 Year Time-Lapse - shot in 4K !

This cinematic time-lapse of the U.S. Bank Stadium construction was produced and edited in northeast Minneapolis.

This was one of the largest of all construction projects in the state of Minnesota.

The time-lapse speed plays at 12 days/second between a 2-year period from September 2014 to September 2016. Shot with a 12mm lens and a Nikon Circular Polarizer II filter.

The original raw file frames of this video measure at a greater dimension than 4K video, 4608x3456, creating an incredibly detailed and resolved cinematic image.

Borderlands: The Palmer House

(scenes from the pilot episode of Borderlands)
The Sauk Centre House was built in 1863 in Sauk Centre, Minnesota. In 1900, it had burned to the ground. The Palmer House was built in its place in 1901 using the same substructure. It remains one of the most haunted locations in America.
We arrived at Suak Centre to document the apparent paranormal activity of the Palmer House. An investigation was led by historian, co-founder of the International Paranormal Society and host of Darkness Radio, Adrian Lee, as well as psychic sensitives by the name of Lisa Lee and Tim Baxton.

A Band Apart - Music Video Reel

This reel was created for the executive producer of these music videos, at his request. After weeks of work, pulling from dozens of music videos he provided for me, this is what I came up with. All works were executive produced by him during his time with A Band Apart, the production company created by Quentin Tarantino and Lawrence Bender.

Artists include U2, Metallica, Kid Rock, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Bruce Springstein, Beyonce, Bon Jovi, Korn, Incubus, Ricky Martin, Sugar Ray, Cher, Will Smith and others..

The music in this piece is by the Brazilian film score composer, Antonio Pinto, whose work includes City of God, Lord of War, Love in the Time of Cholera, City of Men, Senna, and numerous other projects.

Gunflint Trail

I travelled to Northern Minnesota with a hacked Panasonic GH2 and my new post-apocalyptic compound bow. The shots were taken along the Superior shore and the Gunflint Trail.

Francis Ford Coppola selected the GH2 as his preferred camera at the Zacuto Revenge Shootout 2012. The choice faced stiff competition including the Sony F65, Red Epic, Canon C300 and Arri Alexa.

Last Days

The location of these shots include Grand Marais, Naniboujou Lodge and the surrounding area along the Superior shore in Minnesota about a week before the flood in June.

Very little color-correction was needed, only a few shots have slight grading applied. I used smooth setting, iso 320, -2,-2,-2,-2. The elegant roll-off in the whites preserved the subtle nuances in the sky.

Cover Your Tracks

We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time. ~ T. S. Eliot

Butterflies like to fly over waterfalls apparently, I did not know that.

The shots in this video were taken along the Canadian border in Minnesota. The waterfall in the beginning forms the natural border between the U.S. and Canada (on the right).

The camera used was a hacked Panasonic GH2 with Nick Drfitwood's Sedna AQ1 A high-detail patch. There are some shots in this video taken with the Canis Majoris Day PM patch, the Witch Tree on Lake Superior (400+ years old!) in the beginning and the last few shots at the end.
